We meet in the afternoon of the third Wednesday of each month, usually at a member’s house, at 2.30pm for about two hours.
Each month, members take it in turns to propose a topic for the next month, and a Lucky Dip item is suggested as an alternative. (If neither topic suits a member, then any other subject can be offered for consideration.)
Everyone is encouraged to write from the heart and to enjoy the process. Critiques are gentle – simple suggestions might be made, for example. Professional “Critics” we are not!
Every u3a member is welcome to come to a meeting, whether or not they have written a contribution. (Note – the monthly topics are given in each monthly Newsletter).
Group meetings are usually held monthly on the 2nd Thursday
